Comment guidelines

Comments help people see that a problem is real, find error codes and share what worked. These rules keep them useful and safe.

What makes a good comment

  • Where and whenYour city or region and when the problem started: "Down in Austin since 2 PM."
  • What exactly failsThe error message or code, the app or browser, Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  • What helpedA workaround that worked, or the moment it started working again.
  • Kept civilBeing frustrated with an outage is fine. Keep it about the service, not people.

What we remove

  • Personal details: home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, account or tracking numbers, passwords. This includes your own: people often post them hoping for a callback.
  • Scams: "customer support" phone numbers, account-recovery contacts on Instagram, Telegram or WhatsApp, offers to recover money or crypto.
  • Links to other websites, ads or profiles. A link to the service's own site or to an error page it shows is fine.
  • Swearing and abuse: words on our blocked-words list, insults, threats, hate or harassment of anyone, including employees of the service.
  • Off-topic posts: politics, unrelated stories, reviews of a show or a game's story.
  • Spam and noise: the same comment posted several times, random characters, text in a language the site does not use.

Comments are checked automatically when they are posted and reviewed again by our moderation, which uses AI and our team. We may remove a comment at any time without notice.

Stay safe from support scams

We never post phone numbers, and no real company asks you to call a number found in a comment. Scammers pose as support to take over accounts and money.

If you need help with your account, go to the service's official website or app and use the contact options there.

Your privacy

Comments are public and can be found by search engines. They show the name you type, which can be left empty, and your approximate city. Read the privacy policy for what we store.

Seen a scam, personal details or abuse that we missed? Send us the page address and the text of the comment through the contact page. To have a comment you wrote removed, do the same.
