- A pending charge is only a hold
Hopper may put a temporary hold for the booking total. It is not a charge until the airline confirms.
- Allow up to 48 hours for confirmation
When the airline confirms, the status moves from Pending to Confirmed and you get an email with your tickets, usually within 48 hours.

Hopper is a travel app that predicts flight and hotel prices and books flights, hotels, rental cars and homes. People mostly use the Hopper app on iPhone and Android, along with its website, and can add price freeze and flexible change options. Problems usually show up as bookings that fail, price watches that do not update or trouble reaching support in the app.

Is Hopper down right now?
No. Right now there are no widespread problems with Hopper. If it is not working for you, the problem is probably on your side. See "Is it just me?" above.
Why isn't Hopper working for me?
Most problems are local. Restart the app or device, check your internet connection, and make sure the app is up to date. If many other people are reporting the same problem, Hopper itself is probably having an outage and you need to wait.
How do I report a problem with Hopper?
Use the "I have a problem" button at the top of this page and pick what is not working. Reports are anonymous. They help other people see right away if Hopper is down for everyone.
How does IsDownUS decide if Hopper is down?
We count problem reports from users every 15 minutes and compare the last hour with what is normal for that time of day over the past week. A small rise shows "Possible problems". Many more reports than normal show "Problems detected". The status is based on user reports only and is not official information from Hopper.
Why was I charged by Hopper but my booking isn't confirmed?
It is a temporary hold, not a charge. If the booking cannot be completed, Hopper releases it within an hour, but your bank can take 1 to 3 working days to remove it.
