Generate will not start with a blank prompt or no model selected. Add a description and choose a model first.
- Remove references the model cannot use
A prompt that mentions an image the chosen model cannot use blocks generation. Remove its @ mention or pick a model that accepts it.
- An upgrade window means no credits
If Generate opens an upgrade window, you picked a premium model on the free plan or ran out of free credits.

Ideogram is an AI image generator known for putting clear, readable text inside images, used for posters, logos and social posts. People create images on its website in a browser and in its iPhone app, with a free plan and paid plans for more generations. Problems usually show up as images that fail to generate, slow queues or trouble signing in.

Why isn't Ideogram working for me?
Most problems are local. Restart the app or device, check your internet connection, and make sure the app is up to date. If many other people are reporting the same problem, Ideogram itself is probably having an outage and you need to wait.
How do I report a problem with Ideogram?
Use the "I have a problem" button at the top of this page and pick what is not working. Reports are anonymous. They help other people see right away if Ideogram is down for everyone.
How does IsDownUS decide if Ideogram is down?

Why does Ideogram say 'Could not generate that image'?
The run failed. Try again, and check that your prompt is not blank, a model is selected and any referenced image works with that model.

Why won't Ideogram give me free credits?
Only free accounts that sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft get free weekly credits; email sign-ins do not. Paid plans get their credits once a month.
