If others are not reporting problems, try these steps first.
- Check your points balance
Every bot uses points to reply. Free points reset every 24 hours and do not roll over, so a bot may stop replying when you run out.
- Raise the chat's per-message budget
If a message costs more than your budget, Poe asks before sending. Tap the bot's name to change that chat's budget, or set a global one in Settings.
- Turn off Auto-manage context if the bot forgets
Auto-manage context sends less chat history to save points. Turn it off in the chat settings when the bot needs to remember earlier messages.

Poe is Quora's app for chatting with many AI models and custom bots in one place, including models from several AI companies. People use it in a browser and in the Poe apps for iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows, with daily points on free and paid plans. Problems usually show up as bots that do not reply, errors from a specific model or trouble signing in.

Is Poe down right now?
No. Right now there are no widespread problems with Poe. If it is not working for you, the problem is probably on your side. See "Is it just me?" above.
Why isn't Poe working for me?
Most problems are local. Restart the app or device, check your internet connection, and make sure the app is up to date. If many other people are reporting the same problem, Poe itself is probably having an outage and you need to wait.
How do I report a problem with Poe?
Use the "I have a problem" button at the top of this page and pick what is not working. Reports are anonymous. They help other people see right away if Poe is down for everyone.
How does IsDownUS decide if Poe is down?
We count problem reports from users every 15 minutes and compare the last hour with what is normal for that time of day over the past week. A small rise shows "Possible problems". Many more reports than normal show "Problems detected". The status is based on user reports only and is not official information from Poe.
Why did my Poe bot stop answering?
You may be out of points: free points reset every 24 hours, and subscribers can buy add-on points. Also check whether the message was over your per-message budget, which you can change by tapping the bot's name.

Open the message menu and choose Info to see its point cost. For all messages, open Settings on poe.com in a browser and select View Points History.
