Is it just me?
If others are not reporting problems, try these steps first.
- Restart your gateway
Unplug the gateway, wait 20 seconds and plug it back in. It can take a few minutes for devices to reconnect.
- Restart Wi-Fi in Smart Home Manager
In the AT&T Smart Home Manager app you can restart your gateway or Wi-Fi without touching the cables.
- Hold Reset 15 seconds only as a last resort
Holding Reset for 15 seconds returns the gateway to factory settings and erases your Wi-Fi name and password. Letting go sooner only restarts it.

About AT&T Fiber
AT&T Fiber is AT&T's fiber-optic home internet service in many US cities, with a Wi-Fi gateway installed at home. Customers manage their service, Wi-Fi and bills in the Smart Home Manager and myAT&T apps and on the AT&T website. Problems usually show up as no internet or slow speeds, a gateway light showing red, or Wi-Fi that drops, and AT&T shows known outages in its apps.

AT&T Fiber status FAQ
Quick answers about AT&T Fiber outages.
Is AT&T Fiber down right now?
No. Right now there are no widespread problems with AT&T Fiber. If it is not working for you, the problem is probably on your side. See "Is it just me?" above.
Why isn't AT&T Fiber working for me?
Most problems are local. Restart the app or device, check your internet connection, and make sure the app is up to date. If many other people are reporting the same problem, AT&T Fiber itself is probably having an outage and you need to wait.
How do I report a problem with AT&T Fiber?
Use the "I have a problem" button at the top of this page and pick what is not working. Reports are anonymous. They help other people see right away if AT&T Fiber is down for everyone.
How does IsDownUS decide if AT&T Fiber is down?
We count problem reports from users every 15 minutes and compare the last hour with what is normal for that time of day over the past week. A small rise shows "Possible problems". Many more reports than normal show "Problems detected". The status is based on user reports only and is not official information from AT&T Fiber.
How do I restart my AT&T Fiber gateway?
Unplug the gateway, wait 20 seconds and plug it back in, or restart it from the Smart Home Manager app. Give it a few minutes to come back online before testing your devices.
