Is it just me?
If others are not reporting problems, try these steps first.
- Reboot your router for one minute
If your speaker or display is offline, unplug the router for one minute, plug it back in, then reboot the speaker.
- Avoid public and guest Wi-Fi
Speakers may not connect to school, dorm, business or hotspot networks. On a guest network, allow guests to see each other.
- Check your internet provider for outages
If rebooting the router does not help, check with your internet provider for outages or recent network changes.

About Google Home

Google Home status FAQ
Quick answers about Google Home outages.
Is Google Home down right now?
No. Right now there are no widespread problems with Google Home. If it is not working for you, the problem is probably on your side. See "Is it just me?" above.
Why isn't Google Home working for me?
Most problems are local. Restart the app or device, check your internet connection, and make sure the app is up to date. If many other people are reporting the same problem, Google Home itself is probably having an outage and you need to wait.
How do I report a problem with Google Home?
Use the "I have a problem" button at the top of this page and pick what is not working. Reports are anonymous. They help other people see right away if Google Home is down for everyone.
How does IsDownUS decide if Google Home is down?
We count problem reports from users every 15 minutes and compare the last hour with what is normal for that time of day over the past week. A small rise shows "Possible problems". Many more reports than normal show "Problems detected". The status is based on user reports only and is not official information from Google Home.
Why is my Google speaker or display offline?
It usually lost Wi-Fi. Reboot your router for one minute, then the speaker. Avoid public or school networks, and on a guest network allow guests to see each other.
