Approval depends on the store, the amount and your Affirm history. You might be approved at one store and not another.

About Affirm
Affirm is a buy now, pay later lender that offers monthly payments and pay-in-four plans for purchases online and in stores. People manage loans and make payments in the Affirm app and website, and some use the Affirm Card. Problems usually show up as checkout declines, payments that do not post or trouble logging in.

Is Affirm down right now?
No. Right now there are no widespread problems with Affirm. If it is not working for you, the problem is probably on your side. See "Is it just me?" above.
Why isn't Affirm working for me?
Most problems are local. Restart the app or device, check your internet connection, and make sure the app is up to date. If many other people are reporting the same problem, Affirm itself is probably having an outage and you need to wait.
How do I report a problem with Affirm?
Use the "I have a problem" button at the top of this page and pick what is not working. Reports are anonymous. They help other people see right away if Affirm is down for everyone.
How does IsDownUS decide if Affirm is down?
We count problem reports from users every 15 minutes and compare the last hour with what is normal for that time of day over the past week. A small rise shows "Possible problems". Many more reports than normal show "Problems detected". The status is based on user reports only and is not official information from Affirm.
Why was my Affirm application declined?
Affirm looks at your credit history, income and debt, your payment history with Affirm and how many plans you already have. You get an email about the decision; customer care cannot change it or give specific reasons.
