About Wise
Wise, formerly TransferWise, is a service for sending money abroad and holding balances in many currencies, with a debit card for spending in other countries. People use the Wise app on iPhone and Android and its website. Problems usually show up as transfers that are delayed or in review, card payments that are declined or trouble logging in.

Is Wise down right now?
No. Right now there are no widespread problems with Wise. If it is not working for you, the problem is probably on your side. See "Is it just me?" above.
Why isn't Wise working for me?
Most problems are local. Restart the app or device, check your internet connection, and make sure the app is up to date. If many other people are reporting the same problem, Wise itself is probably having an outage and you need to wait.
How do I report a problem with Wise?
Use the "I have a problem" button at the top of this page and pick what is not working. Reports are anonymous. They help other people see right away if Wise is down for everyone.
How does IsDownUS decide if Wise is down?
We count problem reports from users every 15 minutes and compare the last hour with what is normal for that time of day over the past week. A small rise shows "Possible problems". Many more reports than normal show "Problems detected". The status is based on user reports only and is not official information from Wise.
Why is my Wise transfer taking longer than expected?
A wrong account number, weekends or public holidays in the recipient's country, or extra security checks can all slow it down. Your recipient should look for a payment from Wise or a partner using the amount and reference.
